Salutations snack lovers,

Don’t let the name fool you. This is not a health guru blog, with all of the latest and greatest advice on how to prepare your quinoa and kale salad. Go shop at Whole Foods for all of that drivel. Perhaps you favor the whole-grain, gluten free spinach pesto wrap at your local Panera? No problem. All you need to do is navigate to the top right of your browser, and select the red “X” on your screen. Once that is complete, you can safely hop into your 2003 Honda Odyssey and go on the biggest (health conscious) supermarket haul of your adult life. Probably after dropping the kids off at practice, or after looking at those IKEA lampshades you wanted. Whichever comes first.

While there is certainly nothing wrong with maintaining a healthy diet, this is simply not the place for that. What will we be discussing here, you ask? I will tell you.

Here on Chief Eats, we are going to embark on a journey. A journey of snack foods. For all of my life, I have always been a huge snacker–sweet or savory, healthy or unhealthy. This is to say that, although we will not alienate our healthy-food-loving counterparts, the truth cannot be denied: many of the best snacks are also the most unhealthy. You have been warned.

At any rate, my name is Liam and I am currently a college student based in Illinois. I started this site because I feel the world could benefit from my expertise in snack foods. I am no rookie, and there are indeed many snacks which I have tried already. With that being said, I am also not “above” trying new snacks, or being transparent about those I have (or have not) eaten.

I want you to confidently visit this blog, knowing that the information you are getting with each post will be candidly and carefully written. I am not in the business of lying to my readers, and my content will reflect that principle. The blog is intended to be equal parts humorous and informative, so I’d also hope to create a space where you can unwind and relax during your busy lives, even if just for a few minutes.

Content will include snack reviews, comparisons, discoveries, first impressions, and more. If there is a snack you’d like to see covered, in any format, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I am all about delivering on what my readers ask for, because you are what will continue to drive what is produced. Feedback is valuable, and I want you all to feel apart of it. Welcome to the family.
